Atkinson Towers Inc is a 15-story condominium located on Atkinson Drive closest to the Ala Wai Canal. The building is behind Sunset Towers and uses the same driveway from Atkinson Drive. The building has two elevators to service a total of 127 units. Each floor typically has 8 units per floor except for the top floor which has the only 3-bedroom unit in the building. The building was built in 1959 and consists of 2 bedroom units, some of which owners have converted into a large 1 bedroom unit. The exact square footage break down is: ​

Overall, Atkinson Towers is in a very convenient location close to Ala Moana Shopping Center, the beach, and Waikiki. The building has storage lockers and a resident manager. The only downsides are that it is a non pet-friendly building, there is no longer a pool, and owners must now pay $325 a month for parking which is reserved by a 50 year lease with the building. For those that do not need a parking stall, you do not need to pay the $325 a month.

ATKINSON TOWERS - Neighborhood & Location

Atkinson Towers Inc is located right behind Sunset Towers and in between Commodore Waikiki and Yacht Harbor Towers. The entrance to Atkinson Towers is from Atkinson Drive and it shares the same roadway as Sunset Towers. The building itself is on the Ala Wai Canal. The building is just across the street from the Ala Moana Shopping Center and just a short distance to the Ala Moana Beach Park and Waikiki. 

ATKINSON TOWERS - Common Areas

Former Atkinson Towers Pool
Atkinson Towers Inc incorporated doesn't have any amenities or common areas other than the lobby on the ground floor of the building. Atkinson Towers used to have a swimming pool on the ground floor of the building in between Atkinson Towers and Yacht Harbor Towers, but had to fill in the pool to make room for extra parking stalls when the tower lost part a portion of their parking. Atkinson Towers used to have parking on an adjacent lot, but the landowner took it back. With the loss of parking stalls, the AOAO decided it would be best to fill in the pool and to make additional parking available for residents. Parking is now secured by a 50 year lease with Atkinson Towers and residents pay $325 a month. Should owners not need a parking stall, they do not need to pay the $325.
